Gwen Stefani is giving back!
Gwen Stefani, a singer/songwriter for the rock band No Doubt & fashion designer for the line L.A.M. B. & Harajuku Lovers donates $1,000,000. (Yes, its a million dollar we are talking about here) to Save The Children's relief efforts in Japan. Gwen said in a statements:
"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years."
She's also holding a charity auction to be announced next week in Los Angeles. If you are Gwen Stefani fan, she will be selling her limited-edition Harajuku Lovers T-shirt on nodoubt.com , with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the relief effort in Japan.
If you wish to participate immediately, you may donate now at www.savethechildren.org
Thanks you Gwen for putting so much effort into this cause, you are such an inspiration!

10 Ways to help Japan
It's been over a week since the earthquake hit Japan. Luckily my relatives in Japan are okay, but people are constantly worried about rolling blackouts, a lack of transportation, and fears of nuclear meltdown. On that note, followings are charitable and nonprofit organizations and other sources to help Japan and other countries thats been affected by the natural disasters.

Please help
As you may already know, the massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami left many survivors stranded without any electricity, food, & water.
Please go to www.redcross.org to donate or you can can also text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific.
The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

Black Tag & Pink Patch
Betsey Johnson definitely knows how to "Wow" the crowd. How? Maybe because she showed two Fall 2011 Ready To Wear collections at New York Fashion Week. The first line is called "Black Tag" and the name pretty much explains it all. The style is a mix of Goth & Rockabilly influence using dark shades of red, purple, and black while combining plaids, ruffles, sequined, fur trims, bows, and various animal prints together. The models marched down the runway with short black cropped hair, smoky eyes, and their signature red lipstick.
The second half of the show was her new "Pink Patch" line. The line is very girlie, bright, and very whimsical like Betsey herself. This is her new affordable line and all priced under $100, that's a deal!
